Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right section here to post my question. But I'm at my wits end with above mentioned question.

I'm surely missing something essential here but how do I create an Omnimech-variant based of a canonical Mech, like for the Deva?

Can I use the official BASE-variant of it or an existing variant? If yes, how? There seems to be no way to select anything from it. And if I create a BASE-Version of my own, I can't create an Omnimech-variant afterwards as I can only "remove" the BASE. But with it, it removes the "Omni" automatically!

So what am I doing wrong here?

Technically its in the wrong spot.

Create base configuration. Make sure the "base" checkbox is on. Save.

Look at "my designs." Push the edit icon on the base configuration. There should be a create variant button at the bottom of the page.

To make an alternate configuration of an OmniMech in Mordel’s designer:

Go to the load function on the designer.

Type in your desired OmniMech name.

This should bring up all the official configurations plus one labeled “BASE”.

Select the Base configuration.

This should bring up another popup that asks if you want to make an alternate configuration.

Yes, this is what you want to do.

This will load the base configuration of that OmniMech.

Design your alternate configuration from there.

If you want to change the base configuration, you will have to build the OmniMech from scratch.
