I have talked with hohiro about this, and we are trying to get something going...maybe even set up a large Martial Olympiad gaming session(seeing that we are both Commandos) on some middle ground that everyone can drive to.
Anyone else up for this?

And I am from Nebraska which for this scenario is just as far away. Though I do have the interstate system that will save on the amphib-car milage.

Hi gang, sorry to say I havn't been around in a while. I just took a quick check tonight and had to respond to this topic. I was meaning to send Eric a personal email regarding this, but I'm sure you'll see it here Eric.
My family was dealt a crushing blow on july 15 when my 16 year old nephew passed away. My wife's family is quite devastated. As am I. He was such a great kid. The cause of his death is still under investigation, and we are expecting perhaps a manslaughter charge brought against someone in particular.
Needless to say my summer and possibly fall plans are scrapped as we deal with this issue. As a Commando I won't have the time or resources to run the martial olympiad at any point. I therefore urge you New Englanders looking to compete to set something up with Bombtech or David Johnson (dave@jagerwolf.com) to see if he is planning something.
I just wanted to also say thanks to all you guys and gals who post here as it has been a nice distraction,and familiar part of a pleasant routine to come here and look around and take a short break from the everyday grind. Thanks a lot.
