Happy weekend everyone! 
I was wondering if anyone would like a few fleshed out pirate bands? I've been playing Fallout 4 and loved the raider gangs (not from Nuka World DLC, but like Ack Ack at Olivia). I was thinking about doing something similar, creating some fun pirate/bandit factions for use!

I pirate bands really ever fleshed out? I mean, it's a pretty dangerous gig.

LOL Yes. I know. But I kind of like the idea of more indepth bad guys then just "Pirates!"
For example:
Name: The Raging Ring
Leader: Richard "Bearclaw" Mavin
Founding Year: 3015
Combat Force Size:
* 1 JVN-10N Javelin
* 1 FSN-9H Firestarter
* 1 ENF-4R Enforcer
* 1 Pike (Missile) Tank
* 3 Battalions Foot Infantry
Overview:
Richard Mavin is an oddity. A locally famous pirate king operating near the Draconis Combine, he does not lead from a BattleMech. Instead, draped in the skin of a Noviria Steel Bear - one of the most dangerous predators of the Inner Sphere - he charges into battle with nothing more than a pneumatic claw on his left hand connected to a power pack and a handcannon of a pistol in his right hand he has nicknamed "Mrs. Betsy". He is always the first to jump onto the field of battle typically high on various types of methamphetamines.
His soldiers are just as mad, often wearing little to no armor and carrying a variety of rifles and hand weapons. Stimulant use is heavy and often they stop in the middle of a battle to inject or snort more drugs. This is truly disturbing to watch.
Despite their insanity, they are effective, and typically do not need their BattleMech support. Planetary militia, having fired their rifle rounds at the ragers, just to see them keep coming, results in many of them breaking ranks and fleeing.
Their MechWarriors are often just as high, and their BattleMechs are painted to look like the Noviria Bear. Typically, slightly more sane pirates will bring the Ragers with them on a raid, using them to soften up targets and protect their own forces.
Deployment
They typically raid into the Federated Suns and Draconis Combine. Both consider Mavin a nuisance but not enough of one to dispatch forces to destroy him completely. Mavin ignores the Outworld's Alliance as a waste of time, but has been interested in raiding the Taurian Concordat.[/list]

I like it, but I think there needs to be a link between the "Bearclaw" and at least one of the MechWarriors, like brother or lover, else I would expect he would get stomped sooner or later and the MW just take over his band.
