Light interceptor based on a ancient Terran T.V. from the late 1970's. Fast
and agile the Colonial Viper is decently armored for such a light craft.
==Capabilities:==
Intended for short skirmishes and reinforcing potential danger zones the small
craft is overshadowhawed by heavier designs but can easily help to turn the
tide of a battle.
The small craft mounts only a quartet of extended range Medium Lasers. But
they are extremely reliable and easy to repair. The Angel ECM is the most
advanced piece of technology on the fighter, it is hoped that this, and the
7.5 tons of Ferro-Aluminum armor will protect the fighter enough to get it
home.
==Deployment==
Deployment right now is sparse as it seems that most militaries do not want to
waste the resources, Some mercenaries are taking the plunge as a fairly
inexpensive quick strike unit. But time will tell if its popularity earns the
attention of the House militaries.
