How many of you plan on using part of or some of the ideas given in the current info on MWDA in your games?

What do you folks thing of the events of the future?

Does any one have plans to try and convert some of the units over to Battletech or not?

For all practical purposes, I'm ignoring all Battletech events after 3025

In fact, I'm going to rewrite the 4th Succession War, perhaps in the context of a PBEM game.

well, as much as don't like certain things, and realy like others.....

i'm a by the book game player.

i may make lvl3 ideas n weapons but im a lvl2 player.

so as much as i may or may not like it, offical history is gospile to the game. if they added energy shields and aliens, i'd be forced to play by there history.

it helps prevent fights, and standardizes the game.

i do it for dnd, star wars, battletech, and paladium.

and as a personel opinion, i think some hard liners need to soften up. the games changed but not died. shhhhhhesssssssh.

Thats a good question to ponder. At the moment I am not sure what iam going to do about the current time line. I was looking over the wizkids darkage site last night with a friend having a good laugh at what wizkids calls mechs. After we started to think about how we would keep playing real battletech when we run out of time in the 3060's.

We had a couple ideas of keep playing in the areas outside of the peaceful republic. However, since so little is known of the area's outside of the Hippy Sphere, I dont really know. For the moment Iam still shaking my head at what I am seeing, and trying not to curse to much at my monitor.

My friends and I will ignore the time line startingin 3060 and prolly just make it us as we go. Ive seen one of the new mechs on display at the local game shop and I just thought "This is what Battletech has come to? How disappointing". Oh well our mech unit is stuck out in the perifery on "Little Solaris" (a made up world for our game) And were happy about it for now...
