Overview:
Designed as a collaboration between the Ghost Bear Dominion and the Free Rasalhague Republic
to create a powerful yet mobile base defense mech, the Watch quickly realized the
Berserkergang's potential as a frontline shock troop 'Mech for Project Fang, and it was
upgraded to omni technology, while lower tech, lower cost BattleMech variants remained in
production for second line defense. Developed 3075.
Capabilities:
Fast, short term shock mech, highly ammo dependent, though the B configuration was designed
to make up for this during longer term operations. The spikes on its hands and helmet are
not just for show (quirk: battlefists, RA LA). Its speed, agility and mass make it an
excellent melee mech, complementing its exclusive short range weaponry.
Deployment:
Designed to work together in stars, using its speed, agility and mass to break through and
create havoc in enemy lines for a short time before withdrawing while the main force
exploits the confusion. Alternatively used as mobile reserve troops to decisively turn the
tide of battle when both sides are worn down. BattleMech variant often equipped with
tandem-charge ammunition.
