I'm displeased to be asking, but does anyone know of a working vehicle designer that could handle a WiGE build?
I keep thinking of ways to grab and hold a planet, but I keep stubing my toes oversimplifying the process …[/code] _________________ Goose

Well, I don't have a vehicle editor working yet (long way down the road probably). But does SSW or MegaMek do what you need? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I don't think SSW has a Vee editor (and I just looked.)
I've got half-a memory of some crappy app doing a WiGE for me, but it couldn't deal with fractional accounting.
There's this really disfunktional POS I googled-up last year, but it explodes as soon as you touch any armor at all.
I should think that "song" thingie that took off in MWO-circles wouldn't help.
Every time I try to think about I would haxor it into HMV, I degress into fuel-cell MBTs.
Clearly, I need help … _________________ Goose

Yeah: I've been staring at it for about a day, and without fractional accounting, I fear it's doing more damage then good. _________________ Goose

I took a peek and SSW has the Solaris Armor Werks application. Now, I know it isn't maintained anymore, but it offers a WiGE motive type and allows you to use fractional accounting. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

It's my duty to report "I just figured out where that damn SAW was on my system," after weeks of not finding a menu listing for it.
I'd gone back to my spreadsheet roots, and was banging my head into objects to get Excel to round on the suspension factor table the way I was expecting.
I still have to do the pricing at all, and I've never before addressed crits, but I guess it's my new hobby … _________________ Goose

Would it have helped if someone said "It's the SAW file in the same folder where the SSW one is"? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Greatly: I don't even remember how "SSW.jar" became a shortcut on my disktop, but given how little there ever is to installing java-esk apps … _________________ Goose
