Other than my at times inconsistent updating, I thought it went pretty well.

I noticed 1 major issue:
Environmental Effects

While I personally liked the night time conditions and the difficulty that it presented to the mission, I could see how it could and would be frustrating to certain players. Because of how sensors work in the rules, it made for inconsistent firing ability and I believe as a result that their were players that never even fired once. It made the mission genuinely difficult but may have sacrificed to much fun in exchange.

Let me know your thoughts.

We got to spread out and the limited movement worked against us. But i dont think it was bad. Not every combat situation is going to be ideal.

Ok. Salvage page updated with Possible Salvage. So you can see how badly the P.Hawk is damaged.

I wasn't involved so only half paid attention, but I thought the night time maps looked difficult to comprehend. Maybe it was just me...

I play with environmental effects on but it does make the game slow down a bit. Wouldn't recommend every mission with them but once in a while isn't bad. But this IS coming from someone driving a mech with jump jets so it doesn't slow me down too much.

Just make sure Xeroth avoids combat orders on turn 3 of each strategic day. That is the dawn to dusk (roughly) turn of each day. lol.

A couple of beers during turn 2 of the strategic day should do the trick nicely.

RP:

The company reforms in the early hours of the dawn and begins the long march back to the airfield and it awaiting dropship and beds. Your progress is painfully slow as your heaviest units effectively drag the P.Hawk behind them. The rising sun is painful to your drooping eyes as the effect of having been in the field for nearly 24 hours frays your nerves and saps your alertness. Every once in a while, your sensors detect the remnants of the enemy scout lance as they shadow you through desert; keeping an eye on your location and progress. After nearly 14 hours of marching, you arrive at the airfield and pull your battered and field worn Mechs into their field gantries. You are home and the sirens call of your beds sings its alluring song.

A few hours later as the sun fades beyond the western horizon, you have been fed, had a time to rest and stretch, and the techs have been given a chance to look over your units and perform a few maintenance checks. The enemy scouts have not been spotted for nearly 6 hours, possibly having settled in for the night.

Keep our vehicles on alert witha few ground troops. After a few hours rest get with the techs and start to prioritize the mech repairs.
