So what's the plan? Defense in depth? Advance to contact?
If we put at least one line of defense in the xx35 row, that should give us plenty of good range and sight-lines. If all of us are there, we can better concentrate fire and cover gaps, but if anyone gets through we won't have a backstop unless Light lance arrives.

Full Moon Night/Glare (TO pg.58)
If a scenario takes place under such conditions, modify movement and combat as follows.
All Units: Apply a +2 to-hit modifier to all weapon attacks. +1 mp / hex.
Heat: For every 20 points of heat on a target unit that tracks
heat, apply a –1 to-hit modifier to any weapon attacks; conventional infantry ignore this modifier.
Searchlights (only applies to Full Moon Night): Units
equipped with an active searchlight eliminate the +2 to-hit modifier within the arc and range of their searchlight; attacks against units equipped with an active searchlight eliminate this modifier as well.
Careful Movment (TO Pg. 63)
CAREFUL MOVEMENT
The increased MP cost of entering hexes enveloped by light
or heavy fog or covered with ice represents the extra caution
needed to avoid tripping, falling or crashing in such conditions.
By paying the increased Movement cost, units can cross
such dangerous terrain without mishap.
Alternatively, players who do not wish to pay this cost can
announce their intention to pass through the terrain at full
speed before moving their units. After the unit moves 1 hex,
the player must make a Piloting/Driving Skill Roll.
If the unit is a ’Mech and the roll fails, the ’Mech immediately falls and must stand up per standard rules before continuing
Double Blind Visual Range (my words; rules on TO pg. 221)
On a Fullmoon night, the max visual range is 5 hexes. And in addition to being spotted on sensors (which you can set), you need a visual on a target in order for friendly units to attack it. Sensors just tell you roughly where a target is but a visual is needed to actually attack it. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Can we combine sprinting and careful movement?
So for my thud, I would have 8mp of sprinting movement and at 2mp per hex of careful movent, I could move forward 4 hexes. Is that right?

We can change our sensors to dectect vibration instead of visual? Everyone try to stay upright amd cover as much ground as possible. Concentrate fire when ever possible. Hopefully the areo will give us some targets. _________________ Today is a good day to die!!

I come bearing a message from Vagabond.
Due to technical issues right now and a gaming convention this weekend, the game will need to be put on a short haitus. It will likely return some time next weekend. _________________ "I love deadlines. ...woah.... i did not expect my LA of my Vulcan to be left unrepaired.... if it really is unrepaired then i will walk forward 6 and dump a ton of mg ammo if i have to. I am hoping that my techs were smart enough to unload the ammo if they weren't going to fix the arm with the damaged mg. and i would hope they would have fixed the arm since it is generally an easy fix, right?

Shoulder critical hit means a complete replacement of the arm. No spare arm = no repair. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Also, while I accepted your move this time, failure to follow the correct method will result in a stand still order.
Remember, the +1 mp / hex cost. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.
