Mordel, there should be some written rule that says that trying to make sense of Battletech is punishable by insanity. You just can do it so everyone should just stop.

BattleTech makes sense. Just not "real world" sense all the time. Which is quite fine, because it is a game after all, not the real world. That's why it's called a science fiction game, not a science fact game.
