A good balanced multi purpose light mech. Cheap, exceptional firepower and good mobility. (It´s a pirate-mech for raiding the periphery so guess what mechs it would encounter on its mission!) |

Best Commando variant that I´ve seen yet! More speed without an XL.
Good firepower and endurance. No heatbuildup.
And when your ammo goes off you will survive. |

A good upgrade to the -4G.
The JJ give it the much needed mobility in urban environments and the improved range of the weapons makes it fit for more open terrain.
The TC / RAC combination can be quite nasty when you aim at specific locations! But hope to get fast through your ammo for there is no CASE! Drop half a ton of armor for CASE cause due to the standard engine you can survive it. |

I do not see real flaws with this design. Exellent speed and armor.
Good weapon mix for almost all ranges.With 13 DHS you are able to fire 2 ERML along with your PPC at medium ranges up to 15 hexes. At close range look at your enemy: Are there already holes in his armor: fire more Streaks than ERML! Otherwise fire more ERML than Streaks! |

Good brawler! A jumping LB20-X with a bunch of supporting lasers.
And if it doesn´t jump it can alphastrike without to much overheat. |

Usefull 3025 field-refit. The lost range doesn´t pose a problem cause this mech is fast enough to close with the enemy. And now it´s able to use its weapons.
But armor is still weak so hit and run! |

Nice mech with good firepower but 2 flaws. Armor is a bit weak to slug it out at short range. By placing the SRM in the legs you´re resticting the firearc of 2 powerfull weapons cause they can´t swivel.
One of the better mediums around. |

Good, relativly cheap and easy to maintain/repair mech with 2 sets of weapons and 1 set of HS.
If you want to alphastrike be shure to have a round of time to cool down (but for there isn´t ammo the most worse that can happen is a shutdown).
Half a ton of armor only gets you 1 point so why don´t putting in a can-opener (for having lunch in the field!)? |

This variant loses range for more firepower and a maingun without ammo. Dangerous close range fighter but be carefull: the weaponload can easily overtax the heatsinks. The SRM´s can´t fire for a long time though. Then it hasn´t heatproblems anymore. |
