BattleMech: Initiate INI-02
Rating: 2.50
Comment: At first look it seems to be a heavy mech with that movement and diverse weaponry.
Firepower is very heavy for a mech of its class and it has superb armor protection.
As you'll seldom fire that LRM and the small lasers at once it would better drop that 11th heat sink.
Using this will get you two major problems:
In open terrain your slow movement will call for being shot to pieces from range (even if you can deal some heavy damage back) and in urban terrain it will suffer from its lack of JJ's.
Simply drop the heat sink and AMS for 4 JJ's and an additional CASE.

BattleMech: Imp IMP-3E
Rating: 3.50
Comment: A strange decision i don´t understand as hard as i try:
Why pouring so much money into a fancy XL when you can get so much more if taking DHS´s?
You can easily drop down to 18 DHS (The maximum you can put in without re-arranging equipment) and get enough tonnage to take a standard engine (that would survive an ammo explosion) plus 2.5 tons to play around with (replacing the left mediums with pulses and adding half a ton of armor).
Shure: its still a dangerous mech but it lost much of its ability to use most of its weapons in one turn!
A -2E will fight much better in 3025 as this -3E will in 3050!
(But still a rating under 3 wouldn´t fit in my eyes!)

BattleMech: Imp IMP-2E
Rating: 4.50
Comment: Standard speed, heavy armor and 30 (!) heat sinks combined with lethal firepower at almost all ranges: Ouch!
A dangerous behemoth with only two little flaws:
1. Only 8 shots of LRM ammo.
2. Its really, really ugly.
But never mind. Such a mech assaulting a defensiv position is a situation enemies never want to get in.

BattleMech: Hussar HSR-200-D
Rating: 2.00
Comment: For sure this is a sniper.
One heavy (for its weight) longrange weapon, speed and no heat-problems. But this few sheets of tin forces you to choose your target VERY carefully.
Even a Vulcan will be a dangerous foe.
Against normal recon-units it will rock, until they have this much maligned LRM-5! :-)

BattleMech: Huron Warrior HUR-WO-R4M
Rating: 3.50
Comment: The downgrade of the pulse laser to a standard one to free up a ton is a good idea but an additional heat sink would have been much better.
Instead they wasted this ton only to get 9 points of armor.
Still it has the same capabilities and problems as the -R4L.

BattleMech: Huron Warrior HUR-WO-R4L
Rating: 3.50
Comment: The gauß rifle/ER laser combo gives it tremendous ranged firepower but the pulse laser is somewhat useless here.
You have to decide to shoot it or the ER laser or if you shoot both you´ll get enough heat to slow down.
To mount 11 single heat sinks while carrying an ER large laser is really shortsighted.

BattleMech: Hunchback HBK-5S
Rating: 4.50
Comment: The essence of the Hunchback brought over to the 3060's.
Upgraded in every aspect with the much needed jump-jets and without an XL (even though a light engine was necessary).
The only thing i would change: drop one (!) point of armor to replace the small laser by a real weapon.

BattleMech: Hunchback HBK-5P
Rating: 3.00
Comment: An upgrade of the old -4P "Swayback" with some more reach, really full armor and still the good old standard engine.
The C3-slave will give it some better chances at medium ranges and can deliver data back to its lance-mates if engaged in a brawl.
As almost all machines got faster this days the slow speed can get it into trouble though especially without jump-jets.

BattleMech: Hunchback HBK-5N
Rating: 2.50
Comment: This is the original HBK-4G. A dumb tech only had mounted DHS instead of the standard ones. Because he didn´t want to loose face he dubbed it the -5N, a brandnew variant.
It is as good as the original but as an upgrade it is not acceptable.

BattleMech: Hunchback HBK-5M
Rating: 1.50
Comment: This is another really a weird "upgrade".
The switch to DHS should have freed 3 tons but they chosed to convert all 13. Why?
A CASE is a very useful item on this one but decreasing its ammo to 5 shots for that CASE (and a pulse canopener)?
Don´t rip out that small pulse laser. Rip out that 3 useless DHS´s.
Then switch the mediums to pulses and add 5 shots of ammo or add 15 shots.
