BattleMech: King Crab KGC-5000G

Comment: It makes me happy to see that my little five minute design has inspired two spin offs. I like it, I will say though, one of the reasons that I have always shied away from machines wih the Gauss is that it just doesnt feel right to have the capability to kill that easily at range.

Comment: I am flattered that this design was made. I have to appologize for my self imposed exile so I couldnt answer your request. I just needed a break. I really like the design and am glad to see the Clans continued to use the KGC-5000

BattleMech: Wraith TR1

Comment: While not the Perfect Mech, I would have to say the Wraith is one of the greatest mediums ever built. With it's high speeds and its Pulse laser weaponry it can put up a good fight, though in an Equal BV match it can be fought to a standstill. Personally I hated the thing until I played a one on one game against someone I know from Battlechat IRC, and now I have a new respect for this cockroach looking mech.

BattleMech: Rifleman RFL-9X3

Comment: Overall as a fire support machine this looks good. It can fire both of it's ER PPCs with no heat problems. The only thing I can see as a problem is the triple strength myomers. The heat sinks as well as the weapons would make it extremely hard to maintain the heat at the proper levels to really use it.

BattleMech: Catapult CPT-K6

Comment: Interesting. But it is rather average. It carries 2 LRM 15s, 2 ER Larges and 2 ER Mediums. Its a 3067 Rakshasa withoput the Artemis, a little slower, and 10 tons lighter.

BattleMech: Tigres TGR-1MB

Comment: This mech would seem to be a good AFFS or LCAF answer to the Wraith. One thing I noticed, thoug it is highly accurate, it would proboy have some heat problems. The other thing I did notice, in the Fluff it was mentioned that the design used a light engine to stay in the fight longer. I guess it depends on yoru standpoint. From a pick up game standpoint it would make the design last longer on the field. From a campaign standpoint though, It would allow the Mechwarrior to move to the rear echelons of the fighting, and give the Mechwarrior a chance for retreat in more dire circumstances. With the Mech's dependance on Energy weapons though I dont see any way it could feasibly be half as effective if it did loose a torso and was taking an extra 10 heat per turn.
