Overview:
Designed as a replacement for the Hardshot 1E, whose factories were destroyed during the
Amaris Civil War, the Hardshot 1E2 makes the radical decision to redefine itself as an
all-laser tank. The main gun was a source of pride for the re-designers at General Motors's
Arc Royal plant, as they managed to outdo the two PPCs of the 1E in terms of overall damage.
Thanks to this fact, and the durability afforded by the lack of ammunition that could be
exploded if the tank was breached, made it one of the most popular variants with crews.
Capabilities:
The primary weapon of the HDS-1E2 is its triple-barreled Large Laser cannon, composed of 3
Thunderbolt A5M Large Lasers. This is supplemented by Defiance B3M Medium Lasers on either
side of the tank's main body. 30 single heat sinks are needed to avoid overheating, taking
up over a quarter of the total tonnage.
