Original idea was Warhammer 3025s. This is my upgrade for 3025. The upgrade for 3050 will grace the boards soon as well.

==Overview:==
Designed as an inexpensive barrage vehicle, the Besieger has serious
popularity. This version was designed in Kuritan space and sees use mainly in
House Liaos militias as an oppressive tool.

However, many a government has one or two in its militia units for less
manipulative purposes.

==Capabilities:==
With ample ammunition loads for the relatively low caliber autocannon. It can
rain down a continuous wall of rounds using them to sweep infantry positions
and hardened buildings at a range most opponents can not retaliate at.

In a slightly closer range roughly 270 to roughly 120 meters the quartet of
Medium Lasers fill out its defensive capabilities.

For those enemies that get within 90 meters there are a hail of bullets from
the seven Machine Guns that have been loaded into this chassis.

==Variants:==
The only main variant known replaces one of the machine guns on the left torso
and the one in the center torso for a flamer unit.

==Deployment==
This variant of the Besieger has become a favourite among fire support units
that work with infantry and vehicles companies. Also, it has seen some
impressive use in the Solaris VII areanas with a mercenary company.

this thing is perfect for ripping apart infantry formations but the ammo will go quickly. which is a good thing for a medium mech but it does not fit the fluff and its namesake too well imo.

A Besieger should carry ammo aplenty.

I view it this way. If you need more than 14 volleys of your Machine Gun fire. Your doing something wrong. IF your complaining about the 40 rounds for the AC 5 your crazy.

Plus just pulling out 2 Machine Guns for a Flamer and then you get 20 volleys of Machine guns. I never use more than 5-8 machine gun bursts in whole campaigns sometimes. So I can't see me ever using that much ammo.

I see it as a brief-but-deadly firestorm. And Blackhand's right: if you're in a position that you need to expend all your ultra-short-range ammunition, when your primary weapon is long-ranged, then you're definately doing something wring. The Machine Guns are there only as a last-ditch effort to kill whatever made it past the AC/5 and your best efforts to keep away.
