I heve an Interresting series of fighters here the first is a conventional fighter the next two are ASF developments of the origonal airframe the fluff explains the reasons

The Stormbird is a very potent ground attack aircraft with its class 20 ultra
AC it plus underwing hardpoints it poses a serious threat to mechs and
vehicles. Two and a half tons of ferro-aluminium armour gives adaquite
protection from ground fire
==Deployment==
The Stormbird is deployed to ground support squadrons attached to urban
defence units of the Army along with a few Air Force detachments

middle weght slot the twin ER large lasers backed up by the LRM-5 and ER
medium laser insures that it can fight for an extended period and 16 double

The Il-4 is common in Airforce intercepter squadrons as well as on Archer
class carriers and DESS vulture class armed dropships.
