I can't believe it's been three months since my last update; a full quarter of a year. But there's a lot in this release. Definitely enough that would justify a quarterly release. Or at least, that's what it felt like as I was coding all of this. Details of what's included are as follows:
Design Changes
Changed the Review icon used in the administration modules so it had the same look and feel as the other icons.
Enhancements
Modified record sheets so the formatting was much cleaner. This included the following:
Using a new font for text on the record sheet
Added Role
Modified so run will always show a 1, even if technically it couldn't (due to the minimum movement rule)
Moved and modified how some of the stats were presented
Tweaked how Eras worked. Instead of presenting you with sub-eras to select from, you are now presented with the top-level Eras. This matches with how record sheet availability is actually done during design.
All dialogs are now draggable and can be moved around the screen if they are in the way of something that you need to see while the dialog is still open.
Users can now create ProtoMech design. This includes the usual abilities, such as download the design in record sheet format, or as alpha strike cards. Additionally the ProtoMechs may be added and used within a Force.
With the new units, I reworked the menu structure so all unit types to design were in their own sub-menu, so easily identifiable. Additionally, all unit types are now returned with searches, and users can now filter for a specific unit type only if desired.
NOTE: Any forces or units impacted by the above fixes and/or changes have had their stats recalculated to ensure accuracy. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
