==Overview:==
The "Sixth Seal" was probably the single most expensive piece of technology
that humanity has ever constructed. It was also the most dangerous weapons
platform ever designed.
The "Sixth Seal" was officially designated as the "Reagan System Defense
Platform". It was built orbiting Terra, in geosynchronous orbit directly above
the Court of the Star League. Following the combat trials, in which the
station destroyed every drone ship sent to attack it within minutes, the
station was given its new name by the crew stationed aboard.
==Capabilities:==
The "Sixth Seal" was the most heavily armored and well-armed craft ever made
by man. It mounted over 140 naval-scale lasers, 70 large Particle Cannon, 40
large Gauss Rifles, and 20 Naval Autocannon. For anti-fighter and -dropship
power, it carried 240 large lasers, 144 20-rack LRM systems, and 432
Autocannon. To protect itself against missiles and any craft that have somehow
gotten past the main defenses, the "Seal" almost bristles with pulse lasers
and automated anti-missile systems.
What the "Seal" possessed in offensive power, it easily matched in defensive
ability, sporting over 300,000 tons of armor.
==Battle History:==
Perhaps fortunately for the SLDF, the "Seal" didn't survive the Amaris Coup.
Having failed to implant any agents aboard the station, the Rim Worlds forces
were driven to destroy the station to prevent it from savaging their troops
on-planet. Lacking anywhere near the means to assault the station directly,
they instead attacked it with several waves of nuclear missiles. Despite the
stations formidable anti-missile defenses, several of the weapons found their
marks. It was a true testament to the station's resilience that it took a
lucky strike against the station-keeping drive to destroy the "seal".
