Head blown off. Its too easy now to get a Gauss to the head. Having the mechwarrior die from hit is even worse.

Capped.
A LBX-20 cluster shot. 14 hit. 6 of them to the head. Did not even breach the armor. Just shook the pilot to death.
Now that is embarresing.

Folks, taking 10 and having your head blown off or taking 12+ is the same result...your head is destroyed, your pilot is dead, and you're the mech is out of the game. No embarassment there
Now taking 6 1 point hits like ICER says still damages the head...so they tech still needs to make some repairs.
I've seen a pilot take 6 pilot hits and gave a mint head (2 GR explosions and 2 falls)...and in this case all the tech needs to do is hose down the cockpit to wash out the remains.

Actully. same as above. only 4 hit the head. And you fail the piloting roll. And land on the head with a floating crit that kills the pilot,
It is embarresing because you rolled it.

You don't even have to take a head hit. Fall a couple of times, and some failed Pilot checks and you are still done....

attemped DFA, fails, lands on head. pilot unconscious.
Landing a custom tricked out LAM to chase a blackhawk on foot, and then getting the crap kicked out of me.
damn, that little piece of stigma is never going to leave me.

Not that it's embarassing, just hard to take, when a lighter mech than you gets on a 1 level higher hill and kicks your head off....boot to the head! _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man.
