Anyone here play mechwarrior 4:Mercs?
Have you downloaded the Mektek mech pak? Its excellent, much better than the clan or IS mechpacks and its free! You get nine new mechs and tonnes of new weapons, its really good quality.
Made me smile, went onto the mechlab and saw a nice Marauder staring back at me 
For saying its unofficial its really good quality, the mechs look great. Try it out guys!

if only I could get Mercs to work again  I must get it to work in time for the release of the second MechPak
I want to use the Dasher and Black Lanner asap!

BTW you need the PR1 patch before installing the MechPak. Run over to MS's official Mercs site to get it.

I think you will agree that the Marauder looks brilliant, I would really like them to put some more of the classic mechs in,
Rifleman
Battlemaster
Commando
Orion
Hatamoto Chi
Does anyone agree with me that although Mercs is a damn good game, the clan/IS paks are a cheap way to make money.
It also proves that they can easily add more mechs into the games, because when i draw out a list of mechs id like it always reaches the 100 mark

Well I wish I could actually get hold of the clan/is packs! I tried and amazon failed. I really enjoyed the Kodiak and would like to try the Hunchie.
You'll be happy to know that MekTek's MP2 contains the Orion IIC and the Rifleman amoungst others. The Battlemaster is scheduled to appear I believe in MP3. The Commando and Hattie I have no idea about.
