OK so this has probobly been posted a million times but hey, i'm a newbie so who cares? list fav 3 mechs for each wieght clan or IS or of any level heres mine...

??? Don't know really since I play them so rarely

Been reading (and enjoying as well) many of the threads posted in the site. This particular one is very interesting for me. Personally I have few mechs that I would consider favorite as I have not played CB as much as you guys have in the last few years.
I like 'mechs that carry PPC's, so my favorite ones include: Panthers, Warhammers, Marauders, Awesomes, etc...
Maybe my question should be threaded seperate from this one, but I consider the question to go hand in hand with this particular one.
If you have favorites, what determines them to be so? Is it the agility? Jump? run? the firepower? Is it because of a particular weapon, or group of weapons?

| Usually its a mix of general ass-kicking ability and looks. Interesting and unique designs, which fill some special niche or do something nothing else does are also favorites of mine. The Clint with and AC/2 is an example of this, simply because its one of the few AC/2 platforms which makes any sense to me; the Dasher also falls into this category. I am also a lover of PPCs, medium lasers, and missiles.

What's scary is that out of those 12, we have about half of the same favorites, Sir Henry... 
Ruger (and I piloted one of the others on your list for a campaign too...)

I prefer omni's because players can vary the weapon loads. I also prefer mechs with max armor and good firepower for their size.
