actually what I was trying to do was make what I would consider more "realistic" units. Foot infantry can be motorized, but not mechanized. What we know as motorized becomes mechanized either on the ground or in the air (though those platoons are small, 16 men max).
I changed unit size, damage, and ranges to make more sense with standard battletech units. You know have a long medium and short range.
Stripped down autocannons to serve as field guns, rather then just regular autocannons. It also keeps from having to explain a rotary autocannon not flipping wildly over the field when fired.
Two new weapon systems; mortars and recoiless rifles.
Some other stuff I can't remember!
