Can we please get a confirmation screen that people have to purposely check to enable posting designs to forum. I'm exhausted by the spam of designs that the poster doesn't actually want feedback on.

I've thought about that, but how intrusive do I want to get? I feel making it difficult due to one person punishes those who use it as intended. I think before I added a confirmation prompt, I'd just remove the option all together. Then have an option on the readout page for "Share to forums" or something. But I do agree there is a bit much!

I think a prompt when someone enables the option is reasonable. An are you sure you want to share your designs for public review.

Every time they save a design, or only when they check the box? I did move it to a new settings dialog, so it's become a set it and forget it thing, which is honestly probably worse.
I really am considering stripping it from there as well because I don't think I'm totally happy with it. I'm thinking of two options:
1) The 'Save' button is extended a tad and there's a down arrow part of it. You can click Save normally or click the down arrow on the Save button which will have a 'Save/Post to Forums' option. This way you have to consciously select that when saving.
2) Get rid of the Post to Forums entirely within the designer. Introduce a new way to 'Share to Forums' when viewing the readout. This will essentially be a new option with the other Share icons when viewing the readout.
I personally like option 2 because it means you REALLY have to want to do that extra step to share it. Option 1 introduces the extra step of "Are you REALLY sure" without being overly complicated. Maybe a make a poll and see what people prefer?

I like option 1, but 2 would work.

I just created an enhancement request for option 1 because I believe it'll be the easiest solution to implement.
