Every time I am stupid enough to make a LAM battle Mech. I place the avionics and landing gear where it will allow me to set them I am not allowed to save the mech I keep getting a message that I am not allowed to place LAM gear in multiple locations how the hell is it possible when the landing gear can only be placed in Center torso, left torso and right torso same for avionics 1 in head, 1 in left toro and 1 in right torso nowhere else am I allowed to place them making the automatically making the creation un useable WHT???, this is getting extremely annoying, in fact the mech same mech I am easily able to make using The Drawing Board for 20 tons less and with endo steel and ferro-fibrous, is there some kind of glitch in the system not allowing LAM mechs if so why the hell is it possible to select LAM when it is not possible to make them??

The DB is possibly grossly out of date. The LAM rules got updated in Interstellar Operations.

| To be more specific, the updated LAM rules do not allow equipment that has to be/can be spread out in multiple locations, such as ferro-fibrous armor, endosteel or, IIRC, extralight engines, to be mounted to LAM’s.

As others have said, because of rules changes. This site enforces current construction rules. So when you get a message like the following:
"Equipment: Avionics
The location this equipment is being mounted is not compatible with its restrictions. Please review the restrictions column for this equipment and ensure it is mounted in the location specified."
It's telling you exactly what you're doing wrong, and you need to follow them. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.
