Never went to University, instead, I received my degree in the cockpit of a battlemech serving 3 tours as a merc with my first experiences coming from our beloved game world of Solaris 7. During my time in the games, I have learned the art of punching another mech in the face!

My family are dispossessed nobles, who were pushed out of our holdings by Liao. I went to the Davion academy and was serving when this happened. As Davion decided not to do a damned thing, I left with an honorable discharge. I am not pissed off at Davion. I am pissed off at the yellow striped leaders they have there.
I fly my family's wasp, which is the sum total of my family's remaining wealth. I am pretty handy with Mech repairs, which helps keep Betsy operational (Mech/Tech 8+)

Thomas B. Guyman. My friends call me Tommy. I'm from Marik space.
I've been assigned to the Run and Gun Lance, in the good old Shadow Hawk.
I grew up helping my dad fix 'mechs in the Marik Militia, and the members of the regiment taught me to pilot one while I was at it. The Colonel sponsored me for the academy, but apparently too many people didn't like the idea of a no name blue collar grease monkey's son breathing their sacred 'mechwarrior air. I enlisted instead, but after serving at tour the chances of being assigned to a 'mech just about vanished. So here I am to capture/earn my own personal 'mech so I can go back to defending my home planet as a 'mechwarrior. Make my parents proud, and rub it in the faces of the fancy pants nobles who think their 'mech's waste tank doesn't stink.
I'm a decent pilot (bit of a Hot Dog at at times), and I can fix just about anything given enough time. I can usually find the parts needed, even if official supply chains are "out of stock".
