Overview:
    Over the years there have been several attempts to convert conventional designs to Land-Air
    mechs. The Hollander has become the latest test platform to make the transition. Initially
    the team tried to keep it the same weight as it's land bound inspiration. But it soon became
    apparent that if they were going to create a viable unit they would need to tweak things.
    They started with the weapon. The design underwent several configurations but the argument
    always came back that it wasn't a Hollander with out the big Gauss.

Capabilities:
    The design team decided early on that price wasn't going to be an option. They want the
    design to be the best it can possible be but after a early prototype disintegrated in mid
    air the team decided it had to up the weight of the unit to 50 tons. This forced the design
    team to look for a way to balance weight, they decided that opting for the stockpile of Clan
    grade Gauss rifles. This allows the unit to mount a decent amount of armor but also keep a
    decent amount of ammunition for its only weapon. That allowed for three tons of ammunition
    for the gun. Simulation runs with a smaller engine proved to be disastrous for the small
    under armored design. Attempts to make the design faster quickly ended in chassis that were
    twisting and breaking under the added weight.
