Overview:
    Originally envisioned as an 'improved Penetrator', the designs inclusion of a Light Fusion
    engine kept it from being a 'first choice' mech for the mercenary and militia markets.  It
    is finding a home among the more affluent mercenary commands and regular house units, as its
    potent mix of firepower, maneuverability, and survivability leave positive impressions with
    anyone who sees holovids of its field trials.
    
    The prototype was actually renamed once field trials had commenced.  After both test pilots
    of the prototype and those facing off against it agreed that 'once it gets you in a death
    roll, you're toast', its official designation was changed.

Capabilities:
    The Crocodilos is designed to close with enemy units while using its standard PPC in a
    harassing role, much like the Penetrators lackluster ER Large Lasers.  But it is once the
    KR-0K closes that the improvements over its parent design shine.
    
    The Guardian ECM suite offers unlimited endurance in hampering missile strikes as opposed to
    an quickly expended AMS system, with the added benefit of hampering artemis, streak, and C3
    networks.
    
    Five forward facing medium pulse lasers offer accurate firepower, only one less than its
    progenitor.  And three small lasers, two facing rearward to ward against battle armor, round
    out an all energy armament that allows for both extended field operations and a lower
    operating cost.
    
    What makes the KR-0K stand out is the inclusion of triple strength myomer.  With careful
    management of its heat buildup, the mech is capable of moving at 90 kph, a speed that allows
    it to outmaneuver almost all mechs of a higher or similar weight while simultaneously
    delivering devestating physical attacks.
    
    Its jump capability, while limited, offers a further layer of tactical maneuverability, as
    well as flexibility in dealing with difficult terrains.

Deployment:
    As of yet, the Crocodilos has not been manufactured in a quantity large enough to have
    preferred deployment theatres, but its performance is ensuring that it is present during
    most major engagements.

Variants:
    As of this printing there are no notable variants of the base design, although replacing the
    standard PPC with an ERPPC is often done by units in the field.
