Overview:
    The result of the DCMS seeing the Regulan Neanderthal and deciding that they should have
    their own. Maltex Corporation, with its experience in assault design, accepted the
    challenge, The result has made quite a splash with samurai-minded mechwarriors.

Capabilities:
    Using an advanced chassis that boasts phenomenal endurance, the Kurumin is designed for
    close quarters combat. However the primary armament also allows the KUR to passably serve as
    a very heavy trooper. The supercharger allows for shocking bursts of spped, especially when
    combined with the 3x myomer fibers.
    
    Offensively the Kurumin relies on a fairly conventional array of energy weapons. The
    ubiquitous Lord's Light PPC and Diverse Optics lasers are familiar to any combine
    mechwarrior. While opponents equipped with reflective armor are a concern, such opponents
    are generally too brittle to withstand a sustained assault.

Deployment:
    Too new among the DCMS line regiments to have amassed a significant track record, the
    Kurumin has nonetheless acquitted itself with distinction in its few appearances on the
    battlefield.
    
    Unconventional units such as the Proserpina Hussars and the Ryuken have recieved the lion's
    share of production to date. The Hussars in particular have shown great promise in combining
    the KUR with fast medium mechs for shock tactics.

Variants:
    The KUR-5K is a variant from the early stages of development. Using a tried and true VLAR
    300 standard fusion motor, the 5K is only capable of a maximum 54KPH, but the lack of
    extralight shielding combined with a heavy-duty gyroscope is even tougher than before. In
    addition, the 5K mounts a Plasma Rifle for extra firepower.
