Overview:
    Der Schattenkrieger, or 'Shadow Warrior' was created for the purpose of quickly and quietly
    ( relatively speaking) identifying and engaging targets of similar or lighter weight class.
    The design is intended for use in groups of the same model, or in conjunction with other
    machines.

Capabilities:
    The Schattenkrieger is primarily equipped with a guardian ECM to help avoid prying eyes
    while using the Beagle unit to spot and identify opposing mechs or vehicles. It can make use
    of spotters to soften targets with the Artemis equipped LRM 10 launcher, or engage directly
    with its laser weaponry. The Krieger uses its oversized XL engine to get where it is going
    or to get out of trouble fast, and uses jumpjets to make quick escapes if things get out of
    hand. Usually one Shattenkrieger will scout ahead while the others pelt identified targets
    with LRM fire.

Deployment:
    As always, all GZT mechs are first tested through the Stonkin Mechs Inc merc unit, or in the
    dueling arenas of Solaris VII. At this time 3rdBattalion 2nd Company, the 'White Fangs' are
    the only Stonkin unit using the Schattenkrieger. The unit is fulfilling an ongoing pirate
    hunting contract with undisclosed Periphery states. Initial reports are very favorable, and
    the Schattenkrieger is expected to be made available to buyers soon.

Variants:
    There is a variant in the works the retools the Schattenkrieger into a suberb city fighter.
    The large laser is upgraded to the pulse variety, and the LRM launcher it exchanged for a
    short range model. Testing has been positive for this variant.

Notable MechWarriors:
    A lance of the Schattenkrieger are deployed in an undisclosed location fulfilling an ongoing
    pirate hunting contract with Stonkin Mechs Inc. Current tactics being employed usually
    involve either one of the mechs, or a quciker smaller scout design going ahead of the rest,
    then the remaining mechs engage with LRMs. Certain rocky terrain has also lended it self
    well to hide and seek tactics against raiders, who tend to not be as well equipped, and have
    difficulty detecting the Guardian equipped units.
