Overview:
    The Capellan Confederation, despite the recent economic boom, has been seen military
    spending increase dramatically with the advent of high-tech new designs.  Surrounded by
    potential enemies with similar tech and larger economies, military analysts began to clamor
    for a cheap counter to powerful assault mechs such as the Devastator and Pillager.  Recent
    advances in Stealth Armor technology have provided the answer: the dual-Gauss wielding
    Spirit Dancer.
    
    
    
    The design was named by a project engineer in honor of the Lakota warriors of Terra, who
    would perform magical dances to protect themselves from enemy bullets, much as the Stealth
    Armor protects the new mech.

Capabilities:
    The Spirit Dancer is designed to outlast top-of-the line assault mechs in long-range
    firefights.  19 tons of Stealth Armor provide strong protection, and twin Gauss Rifles and a
    standard PPC (typically taken from old Vindicator stockpiles) provide striking power without
    overheating the design.  Ample ammunition is provided, and a standard engine increases
    survivability while lowering cost and repair times.
    
    
    
    Early computer simulations revealed a 'soft spot' of poor targeting capability at point
    blank range.  Adding a single small laser was not sufficient to correct th problem, so a
    companion design, labeled Ghost Dancer, was built from the Shadow Hawk chassis to provide
    close support.  A standard "Dancer" lance consists of three Spirit Dancers and one Ghost
    Dancer.  Each lance costs less than 2 individual Thunder Hawks, Pillagers, or Devastators
    and is easier to repair and maintain.

Deployment:
    Mixed lances of Spirit Dancers and Ghost Dancers have been assigned to several Liao
    regiments, especially in the Chaos March region.
