Overview:
    The Dervish has been, primarily, a House Davion mech. An excellent mobile support mech, the
    Dervish has seen little to no modifications over the years. A battle on the planet Tikonov
    caused enough damage to one Dervish that while salvagable, wasn't easily repaired. The main
    LRM launchers were both gutted by ammo explosions that tore the mech apart. The efforts to
    repair the mech were hindered by politics. The Dervish was salvaged by a small merc company,
    Brian's Bordello. Lt. Lisa Compton, commander of the fire lancee took the Dervish to help
    replace her Whitworth that was left scattered across a plain. Unable to get replacement
    parts from their Davion liason officer, the technical staff off the unit went to work. Using
    LRM-5's salvaged from enemy Vindicators, they fit 4 into the cavities where the 2 larger
    LRM-10's used to be. Finding they had a small boon in weight savings, the group stripped the
    malfunctioning SRm launchers from the arms and replaced them with more reliable SRM-4 packs.

Capabilities:
    The switch from the LRM-10's to the LRM-5's hasn't reduced the long range firepower of the
    design, even the shots per launcher is the same. The upgrade of the SRM's to 4 packs
    enhancecs the mech's short range punch to better levels, especially combined with the medium
    lasers.

Deployment:
    So far the only DV-6N belongs to Brian's Bordello, a mercenary company in the employ of
    House Davion along the Capellan March. Commander Brian Chetzni is the sole male mechwarrior
    in the company. The rest of the unit is about evenly split.
