Overview:
The FSO-H1S Heavy Firestarter was developed by Coventry Metal Works to compliment their
FSO-9S Firestarter OmniMech and their standard Firestarter. It is heavier than both of the
other fire starters by a considerable amount, but it maintains its signature firestarting
capacities. This Firestarter also boosts a slightly slow speed, and Jump Jets.

Its heavier bulk makes it look quite large next to its lighter kin and tops them each by a
meter or so. Its right arm has 2 large barrels, the top is the PPC, bottom is the ER Large
Laser. Its other arm features the signature 2 flamethrowers, but also includes another large
barrel of an ER Large Laser. Its endo steel frame gives it a bulky appearance.

It first was theorized in 3048 and engineers worked on it until the Clans came not much
latter. It was shelved, and in 3058 they finally were able to pick it up again. It went
through field testing in 3061 and was deployed in limited numbers at the start of the FedCom
    Civil War.

Capabilities:
This Firestarter at glace appears to have heat problems, and that is quite true. 12 Double
Coolers work hard to keep the Mech cool from the constant and sudden heating of 2 ER Large
Lasers and a PPC. In addition to these large bore laser weapons, 4 Flamers and a Medium
Pulse Laser add to the heat quandary. The heating jackets are often overstressed in
prolonged battles and often require extra maintenance to keep them acting at full capacity.

The arms are reinforced, and lucky for the pilot, the bulk of the endo steel helps absorb
the blowback and sudden flare of heat in the right arm. The left arm features 2 Flamers
which keep the Heavy Firestarter a Firestarter. It also has an ER Large Laser to provide a
bit of bite. The torso box features 2 additional flamers and a Medium Pulse Laser, a last
ditch weapon. The legs house JumpJets.

Deployment:
It is deployed in several former FedCom RCTs on both sides. It is usually deployed with
    heavy lances.
