Overview:
    Designed as an inexpensive barrage vehicle, the Besieger has serious popularity. This
    version was designed in Kuritan space and sees use mainly in House Liaos militias as an
    oppressive tool.
    
    
    
    However, many a government has one or two in its militia units for less manipulative
    purposes. The newest variant has had an Endo Steel chassis upgrade, and the heat sinks in
    number have been reduced even as they were upgraded to doubles.

Capabilities:
    With ample ammunition loads for the relatively low caliber autocannon. It can rain down a
    continuous wall of rounds using them to sweep infantry positions and hardened buildings at a
    range most opponents can not retaliate at. With the new cluster rounds especially this has
    become true as it can destroy vehicles with a lucky shot.
    
    
    
    In a slightly closer range the paired Extend Range mediums give it a slightly longer close
    range bite, before the pair of standard medium lasers can kick in. The paired SRM 2 racks
    let you go critical hunts, or infantry executing if you need them for it.
    
    
    
    For those enemies that get within 90 meters there is a much lighter hail of bullets as half
    of the machine guns have been stripped out. Now only four machine guns exist.
    
    

Deployment:
    This variant of the Besieger has become a favourite among fire support units that work with
    infantry and vehicles companies. Also, it has seen some impressive use in the Solaris VII
    areanas with a mercenary company.
    
    
    
    Decreasing its capabilities with its machine guns was met with unhappiness with the Solaris
    crowd, but at the same time it now has a lot more fire power and can match most heavy mechs
    even in this year of new technology advances.
