Overview:
A brand new front liner mech designed by Kressly Warworks, the Monolith is their latest
creation to step off their factory. Amassing at 100 tons, it even beats their very own
Stormfire as being the largest mech they ever constructed.

However, unlike the Stormfire, the Monolith does take advantage of the newer technologies
available while still utilising old and reliable equipment.

Capabilities:
Greatly inspired by the Awesome, the Monolith boast no less than 3 Magna Hellstar PPCs. So
impressed of the Awesome, the engineers even went for the classic PPC arrangements of the
Awesome, which gave the Monolith a similar profile.

Although the old PPCs arent as deadly as the newer generation ER PPCs, the old Hellstar
generates way less heat, as compared to the ER variants while still maintaining the same
damage values. Still firing off 3 PPCs will generate tremendous heat, but the Monolith is
more than capable of handling the task. Built from ground up to utilize double strength
freezer technology, the Monolith boast 16 of them, which allows the mech to fire all 3 PPCs
without worry even when moving at its top speed.

Engineers and designers also took note that a slow mech like the Monolith would really need
a long range hitter to devastate its opponent or face untimely destruction because it was
picked to death at the distance. The perfect answer is found in a Death Blossum LRM-20 rack.
Slaved to an advanced Artemis IV FCS, the Monolith mech warrior can be sure that the mech
wont be missing much with the missiles.

18 reloads give the mechwarrior ample ammunition and the ammo is CASED for the safety of the
pilot. For close in encounters the mech is equipped with a quad of Martell Medium lasers
which can easily tear apart most light chassis up close. A single Harmon small laser rounds
out the weapon array serving as a point defence against infantry.

Build around a rugged standard 300 power rated GM fusion engine and clad head to toe with
nearly 20 tons of armor, the Monolith is an extremely reliable machine and will keep on
going after most new generation of XL engine assaults have given up the struggle. The low
cost of the engine is extremely attractive as well and keeps the mech at a very affordable
    price.

Deployment:
Sales have being modest from stronger Chaos March minor states and newer mercenary teams
that needed an Assault mech's toughness and firepower but not looking for a 20++ million
C-Bill machine with equipment that might be hard to replace or expensive.

The Monolith is typically paired with the Stormfire. The Stormfire will use its superior
short range firepower to rip up close ranged opponents while the Monolith can stand back and
continue to rain PPC and LRM fire upon the enemies.
