Overview:
    An older design intended as a low cost recon and medium line mech. The Clint was a rare
    design back in the 26th century. Nearly unique today, the Clint has had some new life
    brought to it when the Taurian Concordat was able to open a small facility to build this
    ancient design. Utilizing an old Star League cache discovered on a large asteroid in in the
    asteroid belt surrounding Taurus, Engineers were able to free up a production line in Taurus
    Territorial Industries. When a company rep was sent to Outreach to try to obtain some
    recovered technology he had the fortune to be at the wrong place at the right time.
    Observing a conflict of the shadowy kind he happened to see some papers stuffed into a waste
    unit before the person was gunned down. While waiting to get to the unit the company rep was
    injured when gunfire broke out. He managed to get the papers and flee to a hospital without
    no one knowing he retrieved the papers. When he was able to look at them there was
    schematics and construction techniques for some lostech.
    
    He returned most hurriedly to Taurus where in secret the lostech was adapted to use for the
    old Clints. The line is being kept a secret for fear that whomever wanted the papers will
    come to get them and as a suprise for any foes who think the Concordat is easy pickings.

Capabilities:
    With the change of chasis, the weakness in the arm has been corrected and a larger
    autocannon, LB-10X, has been installed. Two tons of ammo retain the ammo reserves to 20
    shots. The XL engine, Endosteel, LB-10X, and the CASE were all in the papers discovered. The
    upgrades will provide any opponents with a suprise when they expect it to carry an AC/5.

Deployment:
    It is unknown how many of these mechs are in the field. There is not even an estimate on the
    production capacity of the line that builds them. No agents have been able to get close to
    the line or it's people. All information in this report was gained from an agent who was
    discovered but managed to get this much out before vanishing. His whereabouts are unknown
    but he is presumed dead.
