Overview:
    HAving seen BattleMech combat return to major urban centers; Mart'n'Marv's MechMart has
    designed a vehicle which is well suited to such environments. Using older designed parts for
    their reliability and durability, the Portos is a rough and rugged design well suited to the
    hellish atmosphere of the urban combat zone.

Capabilities:
    The main armament of the Porthos is it's 8 Martel medium lasers. with 6(3RT/3LT) forward
    facing and 2(CT) rear facing it has a 360 degree range of fire. While heat can become a
    concern there is little that can stand up to a constant barrage from this mech. Backing up
    the lasers are a pair of Holly SRM-6's. Arranged in the lower side torsos, they allow the
    pilot to target vehicles and infantry even if they are right in front of the mech. With a
    top speed of 64 kph and a 120 meter jump capacity, this mech is very agile for it's weight.
    While it's speed is good for it's size; it is plenty for the terrain within which it is
    intended to manuever. It's jump capacity makes it an almost terrifying opponent to find
    yourself against suddenly after lands in front of you.

Deployment:
    As of yet there are only 16 of these designs rostered by the Capellan Confederation on
    worlds along the Free World's League border. In the only engagement so far reported a lance
    of Porthos mechs, supported by a lance of Hetzer's successfully defended a city from a
    company of medium/heavy mechs with no casualties of the Capellan forces. The Marik raiders
    were wiped out to the last mech.
