This was the step to right direction. Armor is still dangerously thin, but at leas it can survive gauss shell to torso without risking ammo explosion (exposing to concentrated firepower still not recommended). Keep it in rear areas and it will do fine. As 3060 mech... |

This is a wonderful upgrade to a mech with some glaring deadly flaws. However I can't give it quite the rating Seraph did, as it is still very underarmored. I seriously thought about replacing one of the UACs with a Large Pulse or ER Large and some armor, but I decided that I liked the armament too much. |

An excellent upgrade to an experimental design. I like the continuity of this design and the JM7-X. Kinda like the way the older designs were done. By increasing the armor the survivability has been improved a lot. The upgrade to ER medium lasers gives the JM7-Z better back up weapons than the JM7-X. Also the relocation of the lasers to the CT gives the mech some equipment remaining should the ammo explode. |
