Description: The Great Houses of the Inner Sphere have created a new Star League to end the Clan threat, launching an all-out attack against the most powerful Clan, Smoke Jaguar. During this campaign, the Inner Sphere was assaulted by a new and deadly creation: the ProtoMech™. Swift and deadly, these half-size 'Mechs® proved agile and difficult to destroy. Now, other Clans will quickly field this potent new weapon against the Inner Sphere, hoping to once more tip the balance of power in their favor.

BattleTech Technical Readout: 3060™ provides descriptions, game statistics and complete rules for using the Clans' newest weapon in your BattleTech® game: the ProtoMech. Additionally, new Inner Sphere and Clan BattleMechs and OmniMechs are included, as well as Clan vehicles.

Comment: Concept wise. This thing adds alot of new stuff. Great information, Clan vehicles, protomechs, and even some decent new IS designs which are starting to use the advanced tech to its potential. And yet, at the same time, its all a bit, unexciting?

To be honest, the protos arent actually veey good. The Clan vehicles arent really anything special. And the mechs themselves (while a few stand out) are not really anything that i could see myself fielding. Better to get the 3067 TRO. The new tech in them is used on much more interesting designs.

Comment: I found this tech readout a balancing act. The vehicles and mech designs are great, the artwork sis excellent, but the protomechs are (in my opinion) the result of the after effects of a late night binge party.
Sure, there neat.
Overall, this is a good book. The Clan's have their own vehicles, the Inner Sphere is perfecting Omni Tech, but I find the protos just ruin it.

Comment: Ok, it is another TRO, and when it was released it was exciting. It was great to find out what the Urbanmech IIC, Corvis and Wyvern IIC - first seen in the CCG - were all about!

But this one, despite the Protos and Clan vehicles and all is just so.....bleh?

It includes quite a few 'mechs from previous scenarios, and that is nice. But overall, considering that there are another 4-5 TROs that do similar things, this one is definitely the TRO that does least for me. Apart from the Novacat, there is not a single design in it that I use regularly!

Comment: The near-cutting edge technology. New mechs, new vehicles, and perhaps the most lethal unit yet devised. The Protomech. First encountered on Huntress, this thing is going to give even the most experienced mechwarrior fits. Also included are designs unique to the clans, and the newest omnis devised by the Inner Sphere.
