Description: MILITARY HARDWARE UPDATE!

In the savage FedCom Civil War that rocked the Lyran Alliance and Federated Commonwealth for the past five years, new machines of war have been rapidly tested and put in the field to help turn the tide of battle in each faction's favor. The Clans and other Houses have also been busy, as internal and external conflicts drive the rapid deployment of new military hardware.

Classic BattleTech Technical Readout: 3067™ provides descriptions, game statistics and illustrations for new BattleMech and vehicle designs. It finally unveils the next generation of Inner Sphere aerospace fighters and OmniFighters, as well as the Clans' second-line fighters. A handful of new Dropships are also premiered. This technical readout includes those designs previously published in the Field Manual™ series.

Comment: After 3060, I was very surprised at how exciting and fresh this one felt! Possibly because it did include all those source book 'mechs, not a negative in my opinion!

Really, now that the new tech was really finally introduced throughout all the houses, a lot of very diverse and interesting designs appeared. Actually, if anything, the Clan section is a bit of a let-down in this one, the first time out of any TRO where they are the weaker section! But even they still have absolutely wonderful designs, it is a truly great book. The reason why I "only" give it a 4 is that this one is so far removed from my favourite (3025) that it is almost difficult to see them in the same universe!

Comment: This is the thickest manual out there and it's well worth the weight. Even with the Field Manual 'mechs in it, it's got a slew of new designs with great abilities. I especially love the warships and clan vehicles. I definate must have.

Comment: Yehaw!! A damn fine Tech book. Naturally theres alot of mechs in here from the various Field Manuals, but theres also alot of other mechs in here that have never been seen before.
Theres also new IS and Clan vehicles in here, too. And quite a few of the IS designs are omnivehicles. And quite a few of those have some pretty impressive weapons loads.
And finally, theres some aerospace designs as well, inclucing fighters, dropships, and a few warships and transports.
My only question is: In seven years, they havent done anything with Protomechs? Granted that Im not all that wild about the idea of mini-me-mechs, but one would assume that at least ONE new proto would have been designed and produced.
Despite that one shortcoming, this is a kickass book. If you get a chance, buy it. Otherwise someone is going to use this book to pound you into spare parts.

Comment: The warships and most of the Clan mechs and many of the Inner Sphere designs are reprints from the various Field manuals. The fighters Vehicles,Dropships and the bulk of the Inner Sphere mechs are new designs. This book provides the equipment that would be found in the jihad battlefield.also included are more equipments found in the periphery.
