I read that Wikipedia amplifier link and it said that there are real life power amplifiers. Radio and television stations use them to boost their carrier waves. So this light bulb solar panel power amplifier engine will function as I've said.

It takes 'EXTERNAL' power and uses it to boost the amplitude. It does not create power but in fact USES more to boost its output.
It will simply not work.

| If you say so. I guess with the Think Tank Life Path I could create the elements necessary to design a genuine power amplifier that would increase the power wattage. I know this design wouldn't create enough energy like a fusion engine of the same rating, but for non-violent civilian use, I'm sure our gamemaster will allow it. Let's remmember that the components of the universe started from practically nothing during the Big Bang; they were amplified; and since matter is energy, it stands to reason that a genuine power amplifier could be possible.

The lightbulb converts only part of the enrgy you supply in it to useable light. The panels only convert part of the light to energy, which means that the lightbulb gets less and less anergy and the panels get less and less light. Like it was noted by Vagabond. There's no magic box that amplifies the energy without external source. If such thing existed we wouldn't need any powerplants and would just run some initial impulse through a loop of amplifiers. Cars would run for free, crops would be grown in towers isolated from all vermin and disease, houses could be self-contained and fully independent on heating and energy.

I understand what you're saying. Please understand what I posted in my previous topic in that using Einstein's equation E=mc^2, I can, in theory, create new elements necessary to design new components of a new type of genuine power amplifier using the Think Tank Life Path in accordance with basically how the components of the universe came into existence during the Big Bang and moved away from each other after the Big Bang.

You could theoretically create a lot of energy by dissolving matter, but that means you are using a fuel. Once you have energy you don't need much else. All you need to do is to convert the energy you get to some useable form. Light bulb is certainly superfluous.

| Why not? An amplifier increases the voltage and a tunnel diode, when it's biased a certain way, allows more current to flow.

I went ahead and brought this topic up on the unofficial Mythbusters fansite, Citadel of Myths.
They actually go into detail as to why this all just won't work.
Sorry, but the system as described is just too inefficient.

| I understand why this won't work. Ask them if tunnel diodes, that are biased to allow more current to flow, and used with ampllifiers will work with the light bulb & solar panel box.
