base chassis: WHM-6R
modifications:
*trade the 18 single heat sinks for 13 doubles, placing one in each arm.
*remove the machine guns and ammo.
*downgrade the SRM 6 to an SRM 4.
*add an SRM 4 and a ton of ammo to each side torso (for a total of three launchers and three tons of ammo)
*install CASE in each side torso.
*upgrade the small lasers to mediums
This is going to be the personal ride of a recurring NPC in my fic, a Solaris VII pilot with a princess streak and money to burn.
Having three SRM 4 launchers means that each launcher can have a different type of ammo, thereby increasing the tactical flexibility. Upgrading the smalls boosts the firepower and increases the stand-off range of the mech as a whole. That thing's going to run hot if you are careless, but otherwise it packs a fearsome close range punch. I wonder if it's trying to get in range or not as the armour won't hold forever, but it can give as good as it gets IMO. Thumbs up for this one! _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Heh, you can see what I have done with the ol Warhammer with WHM-7G that got approved recently. These could make a nice pair perhaps, although my creation is even less durable if it gets to brawling range. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!
