Hey gang. Once again the dropships will be burning hard towards western mass. I'm polling the regulars with a couple of possible dates in August. Don't sweat , I'll run the ac. Date will be finalized taking into consideration: turnout and availability of out -of-staters. Disclaimer: if MOB attends then cheese puffs will be banned!

After careful consideration the date has been set. Sunday August 15th from 8:00 ish Am to 8:00 ish PM.
I will be working on the bbq menu asap. Please bring some snacks or desserts!
3067: The Battle For New Syrtis
McCarron's Armored Calvary invades Saso City! Can the 3rd Ceti Hussars and the 4th Donegal Guards repel this thrust? You will decide!
Bring 2 OFFICIAL (published in reinforcements or HMPro) Inner Sphere Mechsheets.(NO customs)any era, 2000 BV (old, not BV2) combined. You may adjust Pilot skills,but Gunnery Skills not below 3
all ammo types permitted. Initiative: lose-move 1st mech, win-move 1st mech, lose-move 2nd mech, win-move 2nd mech, if you lose a mech you must move in 1st pairing.
The battle will take place on the attached map pic. (a few buildings will also be added) skidding and flooding rules in effect. Players will be randomly split into two teams: Capellan and FedSun.
Team with most remaining BV at end will win. Team will have considered losing the BV for a mech with normal destruction plus any following conditions will also apply: 2 gyro hits, loss of both legs, loss of all weapons,
2 hip criticals, mechwarrior unconscious or mech shut down at end phase of final turn.
If time permits:
Solaris 7 Assault Class Championship
The giants are slugging it out! Many may enter.....only one will leave!
Bring a level 1 3025 Official mechsheet 70 - 100 tons, 1600 BV. Pilot skill may be adjusted to any, Gunnery skill not adjusted below 3. Will be fought on level map with no water,and some walls for cover.
NO BACKSHOT RULE: If you move behind an opponent AFTER they have moved the defender has choice to take attacks from rear or either side. If when you move, you give someone who has already moved, your back......well thats too bad for you! No choice for anyone in that case.
Initiative will be determined randomly with cards each turn. No one may fire on an unconscious mechwarrior, but physicals are allowed!  Standard ammo, infernos allowed. Fire declaration will be written, not verbal.
Last mech wins!
I still havn't heard from: Mordel, Cliff, Casey, Shadowking (steve), CSS Herod, Pinhead, or Macross (doug).
