So do you have any opinion on any of these redesigned variants? Or perhaps any suggestion as to what would be a good way to rethink the Mad Dog A variant? I would love your opinion here, man.

Honestly, no. Any ideas i get these days are going into my Clan Woverine sourcebook I'm writing for my alternate timeline. But I've also not had time to look over your designs in detail, just to skim them.

The more I see of what you are trying to do, reminds me of the Mark 1 version of the Clan Mechs, these would also be the playtest version before things were watered down so as not to wipe out the Inner Sphere. Almost all of the Mk1s had all the best Clan tech offers, Endo, Ferro, XL, DHS, high speed, max armor, the best weapons etc...not sure if that is what you are going for but it does seem like it.

I think you nailed it Karagin. While I didn't really know that was what I was doing, when you say that I have to agree that is what I'm doing. Seeing what the clan mechs look like at their best, not their watered down versions. 8)
