Just a heads-up to Karagin and anyone else here in Central Texas -
do not bother with the Toys R Us here in Killeen unless you absolutely have to.
Today was the third time in as many visits that I was greeted with inexcusably poor customer service while trying to get my Christmas shopping done; it was a different offender each time, raising questions as to whether or not poor service is endemic at the store.

I have had mixed results at this TRU.
They never seem to have much of anything that is currently popular in the SW stuff that is out, and when they do get it in they are not known to stock the shelves until a month after Walmart, Target and Kmart have had the stuff out. Given that their prices are second only to Kmart at being the highest for SW figures and toys, I only shop there if I have too and then only for the things that are exclusive to them. Fans of SW actions figures and other stuff have complained to Hasbro about TRU being one of the worst distributor of SW merchandise, but it has been to no avail since TRU is a major purchaser of Hasbro's toy lines.
I have found the one in Cedar Park and Round Rock to be better with customer service. It is sad that the on here in Killeen is bad, since I am use to having TRUs that seem to be interested in their customers and work hard to keep them happy.

There is a Toys R Us in Auburn, MA that has sucky customer service too...it's so bad I don't go there anymore.

I went and called TRU corporate on Saturday.
It took an extra 24 hours beyond what they told me, but someone did call me back this afternoon.
They sounded rather shocked when I told them what transpired, and to "apologize" they're sending me a $10 gift card. They also promised to file a report with the regional people and have them take care of it.
