contrary to the fluff text for the Phoenix Hawk LAM, I fail to see how this
unit would have been too heavy for use as a LAM. As you can see, freeing up
sufficient tonnage required nothing more than swapping out the AC/5 for a
large laser, removing the SRM 2 launcher, and giving up some armor.]

Looks more like PXH LAM incarnation or sume kind of Wolverine refit. Not much in common with any old SHD variants I recall now...

The Draconis Combine had a variant which used a PPC in place of the AC/5.
The load-out I used is based on that.

Yes, I recall that one, but I consider it to be a Griffin clone rather than a true SHD. Not to mention that PPC/LRM-5 combo and this 'Mech have only the weight category and LRMs in common.
