Thanks Sir Henry. When I first joined this site I didn't use the forums at all for something like a year. Then one day out of boredom I started reading and I realized what a great community this is. I'll be here always, for as long as Mordel keeps it running.

Yes, all of it bad.
This past Friday, the neighbor "confessed".
Of course, being the way he is and knowing him like we do my whole family is skeptical about his confession. See, he just got kicked off that property by the owner and blames us for it. Combined with him being old and ill (probably dieing), and having no where else to go... and he confesses? Who knows. He may have done it, he may be saying he did just for revenge. I don't know.
Child Protective Services is coming for a meeting at my house on Wednesday. We'll be getting more details then.
My daughter's birthday is the 22nd, and I've still not been able to see her. My ex hasn't complied with the court ordered visitations yet, and the judge hasn't put her in contempt for it yet. Stupid feminist judges anyways.

You haven't seen your daughter since the end of September? Boy, that's rough. So you don't even know - first hand - what she thinks of it? I mean, no matter how young she is, that would give you closure. A meeting with her would enable you to be more certain at whom to direct your contempt...
I wish you the best of luck, I hope that this is the bottom of the barrel. Things will have to look up one of these days; life can't be that much of a b...h - that's just way out of line.

I've not seen her since June. And he didn't take the poly cause he confessed. It wasn't scheduled till Dec. 3rd.

Ok, my attorney called and filled me in some more. He DID take his Poly early. And failed it. That's when he confessed. I'll still let you all know what happens with CPS tomorrow.

Well, everything went amazingly good. Not only was she quite nice, but she wants to remove the termination of my rights from the petition to the court. So... some good new for once!
Things are still going to be a fight though, depending on how much my ex wants to push things.

Yes, hopefully... now if I could stop chewing my fingernails off in suspense waiting for them to get their meeting over with so I KNOW for sure that removal of my rights is being taken off the petition....  Going s little batty over it.

Well. It's my daughter's 7th Birthday today. I tried to call her. And my ex either shut off her phone or changed the number. I'm pretty upset.

Hehe, I think you misunderstood  This is a GOOD thing. The standard petition in such cases always includes termination of parental rights. She wants that REMOVED from the petition. Which is a good thing, means that even if they don't let Beth come home now, I get to keep my standard parental rights. Which include parenting time.
