I'm in the home stretch of finishing off a novel I'm writing; the last chapter is done, and I'm simply going back and proof-reading / revising.
Once I finish, could I please get someone to look it over? I'd need an e-mail address so that I could send you the relevant files.

It's a comedy with romantic and action edges to it; one of the base themes is "Be careful what you wish for."
The protagonist is Guy Jones, who (over the course of a weekend) finds his life changing up from the "simple" monotony of a software designer to something far different. In the process, he winds up involved in something that not even he could ever imagine... (cue the sequel, which I'm already working on; Tokyopop wants a minimum of three volumes if I go with them).

And I've read it, made a lot of change suggestions (mostly for grammar) and I like the overall story. I'm curious to see the final version and the rest of the story too.
I'd have to say, You're very good at taking constructive criticism  Keep up the good work, and once its published make sure you nail me an email with the final manuscript

PS - turns out that it was a good thing I finished vol. 2 before pitching the series; this month's Writer's Digest is all about how to find agents.

It's interesting.
My idea was to wait to pitch vol. 1 until I'd finished vol. 2, that way I'd have a trump card in place.
Well, I finished vol. 2 earlier this week.
Yesterday, I got in the October issue of Writer's Digest.
It's all about how to find an agent.
Cool timing, eh?
