==Overview:==
  This unusual mech, believed to be a slightly revamped Howler (Baboon), has
been codenamed "Hammer Rock." Whether or not this new name will stick is
anyone's guess.

The Hammer Rock appears to have been designed by Jade Falcon to supplement
their Baboons which are already in service. Whereas the Baboon was limited to
a fire support role, the Hammer Rock has weapons which can be used in a number
of roles. The ER Large Laser, the unit's new primary weapon, has the range and
damage potential to take on practically any mission that might come up; a pair
of machine guns and a flamethrower provide back-up, allowing the mech to be
used against infantry and battle armor.

It is believed that the weapons load-out of the Hammer Rock has been
influenced by the Falcons' recent skirmishes with the Inner Sphere, incidents
which resulted in sometimes embarrassing losses.
