Hello everyone,
This thread is to list and update the upcoming convention at my house. Questions gladly answered.
HorhiroCon III Saturday August 18th 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Classic Battletech: Gunfight at the OK Corral.
It’s 3067 and Wayne Waco and his Rangers have ambushed Jaime Wolf and his personal Dragoons guard. As Outreach goes up in flames, who will survive this long standing blood feud?
Bring any two official Inner Sphere Mechsheets, from any era, with a combined total Battle Value of 2200 points. Mechs may have their BV altered by changing their Pilot/Gunnery skills. No Piloting or Gunnery skill may be lowered to less than zero. Teams will be randomly determined.
At the end of the event (4 hour time limit), each team will add the BV of their remaining functioning mechs to the BV of the mechs they destroyed, plus ½ the BV of any enemy mech damaged to any of the following conditions: 2 destroyed limbs, 2 engine hits, 1 gyro hit, suffers an ammo explosion, loses ½ of weapons, or loses 2/3 of internal structure . Team with highest point total will be declared winner. Following ammunition not allowed: swarm, thunder, Arrow IV, and armor piercing. Battle will take place on a 4 map cityscape, with buildings, and skidding rules in effect.
Classic Battletech: The Clans: Trail of Possession
It’s 3069, and the Clans are battling for possession of a newly discovered Castle Brian. Do you have what it takes to lead your Clan to victory?
Bring anywhere between 2 and 5 official Clan Mechsheets, any era, with a combined total BV of 4000 points. All pilots will be 4 Gunners/5 Pilots, so no altering BV will be allowed. Players will be fending for themselves, with the winner determined by last player with a functioning mech(s). Clan honor rules not in effect, such that physical attacks and gang firing are permitted. No swarm or Arrow IV ammo permitted.
Classic Battletech: 3025 Solaris 7: Heavyweight Champion’s Cup
Bring any official 3025 era, level 1 mechsheet between 55 and 75 tons (inclusive) with adjusted pilot/gunnery skills to 1100 Battle Value Points. Bring 3 copies.
Mechwarriors will randomly battle as pairs on the following Solaris7 Arenas: Hartford Gardens, The Mountain, The Junkyard, The Mud Pit, The Coliseum, and The Davion Arena. Championship points awarded for kills, survivals, and style. All standard ammo permitted, including inferno. Player with the most points wins the Cup!
***Update: All Battle Value (BV) selections will be using the Original BV lists.

So what you're saying is Ray is worth the effort to make it there but Mike isn't? 
I should have news early this week about my status. But I've got about 70% of the month booked for travel already for work, so it isn't looking good.

If you don't go it requires extra effort. Mike is only worth the normal amount of effort.

A trip from Worcester/Shrewsbury to Belchertown requires little to no effort, but coming from Delaware! Now that's effort! And as we do rarely get to see Hardware, I think it's worth the extra effort.
***Scenerio updates: All Battle Value (BV) selected are to be from the original BV lists. As a matter of fact I have not even been initiated in the newest incarnation of BV......

Only in the sense of effort spent trying to find rides to and from. It's the people giving you the lift who are doing the real work.

Hello everyone,
We are 3 Days out to HorhiroCon III. Gentlemen, start your engines!
Looks like a simple menu: cheeseburgers, hot dogs (yes Hardware, I will get frankfurter buns!), local corn on the cob, salads, chips and drinks.
If everyone could please bring some snack food (breakfast or otherwise), that would be great!
Looks as though the final lineup is complete, which means not MOB, so bring on the cheesepuffs!!!!!!!!
Mordel, If you're coming, bring some BattleCorps freebies! 
Can't wait to destroy, oops...... SEE you all then.
