This was a fun design process. And by "fun design process" I mean, "I sat around for a few minutes imagining a line of big bruisers advancing on some unseen enemy, while smaller versions of the same machine darted in, around, and through the formation".


I wanted autocannon to be the primary weapon system for the base design (I started with the Great Fox) so I gave extra ammo loads to make sure the lead keeps flying for all but the longest battles.

I think they both capture a TRO: 3025 kind of feel.

The Great Fox is the Orion in disguise, but the little one is much more interesting. Not fast, but well armored and with some good guns. I like Twisted Evil

I personally think it looks more like a Centurion. But still, being compared to one of the best 'mechs of 3025 can't be a bad thing, right?

I like the little one. The Great Fox seems a little undergunned. Would like to see it with a second launcher of some kind, either a second LRM system or a Streak system.

No it isn't, but making something that already exists and making it 5t heavier and +1mil in cost isn't the thing that makes me happy with designs. It would need some explanation in fluff.
